So, the title says it all. Looks just like that. Hella flush, beat up as hell, bad Tien coilovers, staggered wheels and just all round shitty. I know i got it for a bargain, but with the top down on Texas highways, mosquitoes in my face and the open highway, all was right with the world tonight. I loved every minute of it.
Words can't describe the feeling even a junky Miata gives.I guess my Genesis Coupe would be put to rest now.
Anyway buying it is usually the first cheap hurdle, it's trying to repair years of neglect that takes it toll on your wallet. But it's an endeavor i'll gladly undertake with a smile on my face and my lil blue Miata. I wonder what i should call it?

$800. Ran and drove like a champ. Check engine light on but the shifter was smooth and crisp as hell. Clean title too. Who would have guessed. The owner was moving out of state so i guess i'm the lucky dude today

I flew two states over to avoid stanced garbage and I ended up paying over 3x what you did. Good deal.

Bad Tien coilovers? Like bad as in old and very worn? Because I've always heard Tien makes decent suspension and I'm pretty sure their Miata coilovers are about $1k.
I'm interested to see what your new Miata looks like though - don't tease us with this!
800 bucks - sounds like you got a deal on a halfway decent running Miata. Enjoy!
I realized that in the short period of time I had my NA, I never got around to naming it... :( you should get on that!

Congrats!
I went from a Genesis Coupe to a NB Miata. It's infinitely more fun since it doesn't have all that extra weight of pretending to be a German sports coupe.
Seems that all used Miatas have their flaws, unless you want to pay $8,000+. My NB came with one of the nastiest driver seats I've seen. The leather is so disgusting that it gets really tacky in hot weather. But with the top down and a revvy engine, who cares!

I'm not gonna lie, I want a Miata and I wanted it lowered, maybe stanced just a bit so nice job!!
If the paint is crap, maybe look into a wrap or plasti-dipping it yourself for a few hundred.

I like this color combo. I like it a lot. Mariner Blue is the best Miata color, hands down.

Mine was originally red and now its blue so……..well i like the blue more and i'm okay with it
